In the share your experience section over at Sticky Site a woman tells about her bad experience with Krazy Glue. On rare occasions you can get an exothermic reaction when cyanoacrylate type adhesives contact certain fabrics. On the label there is a warning about the stuff being known to cause burns through clothing.
What happened in her case was she went to fix one of her nails and accidentally dripped some on one of her nylon clad thighs. There was a reaction which resulted in a chemical burn. According to her she ended up with what sounds like a really nasty second degree burn. The chances of this happening are pretty slim but just thought I should mention it.
For the record I do plan on starting a thread over on the Mythbusters message board to see if they would be willing to do some research into it.
