A few of my favorite TV freezes are from Wonder Woman and episode called the Fine Art of Crime. In it she was "forced" to switch her bracelet for one that had an electrical device of some sort in it that would freeze her into a living statue. The bad guy had her pose with her hands on her hips and smile. As he turned the dial controlling the bracelet, her hands went to her hips and her head raised and she smiled then froze. It was a pretty cool scene. Another was a show called Black Scorpion "Crime Time". The bad guy (Frank Gorshin) had a device that could freeze time for 3 seconds at a time. During most of the episode whenever the actress playing Black Scorpion was in her uniform she ended up getting frozen. Some of the best ones were when she was fighting Frank's character. She got froze in mid punch, mid lunge, trying to grab the device, all sorts of action poses. Too bad it only worked for 3 seconds.. Ever see the movie Looker? How would you classify that one? I don't know about you but it was one of the best movies I've ever seen.
Strange thing about the "freeze gun" they had, I for one feel that the technology will one day exist. Right now they have devices that can pretty much incapacitate a person just by shining it in their eyes.
They might not freeze anyone yet but they can make a person loose control of their body functions. Don't even want to go there do we?

The looker gun, from what I remember, basically put someone into an instant trance and made whomever shot it invisible. If I'm recalling the plot correctly. You could almost do that now with hypnosis and a trigger. But you are right Halsca, it was a great movie for freeze, hypnosis and mind control fans alike.
And sitting here writing this response I've recalled another freeze TV show called "Out of this World" or something like that. It had a girl who could freeze time by touching the tips of her index fingers together. Every episode had at least one freeze scene in it as I recall, sometimes more.

The OLD Twilight Zone series had an episode where a man came across a stopwatch that could stop time. When he hit the button everyone and everything froze I think on a global scale. Anyway the dude pulled a few parlor tricks on his boss and co-workers then went big time.
The man stopped time and robbed a bank, while wheeling out a cart full of money he dropped the watch breaking it, leaving him the only animated person on the planet. Saw that episode a long time ago, one of the better one's in my opinion.

I gave this one some thought, since for some reason I didn't have the answer to this on the top of my head. Of mainstream stuff, I would have to give top billing to Andrew Blake's "Venus Descending". Great pose, expression, and sexy outfit. I also liked the way she "rattled" a bit before stopping. Not sure why I thought that was cool...maybe because she was selling the forcefield effect. I also have to give credit to Teri Hatcher in the "Prankster" (or one of them) episode of Lois and Clarke, when she's frozen in the office. Again, very sexy expression on her face.
