Ever see Ghost Busters? In the original flick they nuked a 300 foot tall marshmallow man and NOBODY got stuck. A little messy yes but stuck no, a major disappointment here. If I were in charge of that one you'd have one giant cluster stuck scene. People stuck in the streets, stuck to each other. Think about it I'd have had dozens of people struggling in stretchy gooey melted marshmallow. In the movie Maid in Manhattan Jennifer Lopez gets up from a park bench with a magazine stuck to her shapely rear end. Her reaction is cool but when her friend removes it we see nothing left behind, not even a little gum spot. What was the point of that? They blew it here too. The idea was to add a bit of laughs, if so why didn't they have her sit on a nice fat wad of gum, a big sticky lollipop or some sort of sticky candy wrapper. Got any other ideas you're the producer here, name your flick, the scene and how'd you have done it. Common folks lets post some ideas here.

I recently saw a movie called "Chopping Mall", an 80's era sci-fi/slasher flick involving high-tech security robots and a group of teenagers who camp out in the mall after hours. Lightning strikes the mall's security computer and the programming of the robots goes haywire, causing them to hunt down and kill the teenagers. The robots are equipped with various means of dealing with criminals, supposedly non-lethal like tranquilizer darts, but still find ways to knock off the teens. My gripe is not so much with a particular scene but with the movie in general. Sure, the film kinda predated sticky foam guns and such but you'd think any script writer that allowed for autonomous robot security guards would have thought of some non-lethal capture tactics involving strong adhesive. Considering we seem to be entering the age of movie remakes where half the movies coming out are re-hashing of older movies this is one movie I would like to see remade, even as a cheesy SciFi channel production, only this time the robots should be equipped with some sticky arsenal. Maybe glue guns to capture the female characters, or large sticky nets to snare them in.

Maybe glue guns to capture the female characters, or large sticky nets to snare them in. YES glue guns and sticky nets are cool, even non sticky nets do the trick. The sight of an oh so sexy and not to mention angry young woman struggling in glue or a net is quite stimulating not to mention more realistic than darting someone or robotically hacking them to death. Two women struggling in the same sticky trap or net is ten times better. With the magic of Hollywood the net or glue thing can be quite easily done. Net guns have been around for years, if they can catch wild animals why not marauding criminals at least in the movies anyway.
