There was a Budweiser commercial that ran back in the 90's that had a GREAT close up stepping in gum shot. It was filmed on the Hollywood walk of fame.
OK the camera was probably only a couple feet off the ground. Several people walk by in what looks like fast forward mode. One of them drops a nice fat wad of bubblegum on the sidewalk.
Another groups of people walk by again is fast motion. They all miss the gum. Up at the top of the screen there is a man and woman, it's sort of like a picture in picture thing.
The woman says "I don't get it". Suddenly a woman in really tight jogging shorts walks by, you see her walking at regular speed. She steps in it, it must of been a really hot day because the gum's super sticky, stretchy and stringy, the woman takes a couple steps pulling long sticky strands of gum behind her. She then looks back and starts scraping her shoe on the ground. Then she stops lifts it up and looks at the bottom of it and continues scraping.
The woman at the top of the screen now says "oh now I get it". I'm still sort of clueless about it but I think that it was a message against littering.
Not only was the stepping on gum thing done just right but the camera angle gave you a nice view of the woman's butt cheeks in those teeny tiny little shorts. ;D
