Are you sure she's a robot? The woman looks pretty lifelike to me. Blade Runner was a cool movie.
Funny thing I read that the original idea for the Terminator was ripped off from an Italian comic called Raxerox, it ran for a time in Heavy Metal back in the early 80's.
Raxerox (might have spelled it wrong) was a body guard and he looked and worked a lot like the bio- cybornaught Arnold played in the movie.
He had some sort of emotional melt down and fell in love with his young charge. She gets kidnapped and he rescues her, doing major terminator like mayhem on everyone and everthing that stood in his way.

Hard to tell given the quality of the video, if she is a robot I wonder if it can walk? For a robot to walk upright on two legs is not as easy as you would think. For it to sit down in a chair and get up again is a major challenge, have the Japanese come that far in robotics?

You know I'm pretty sure there is a HUGE cash prize for the first outfit that can come up with a bipedal robot that can not only walk but sit down in a chair and get up again unaided.
I know there's a 2 million dollar prize up for grabs for the first outfit that can come up with a car that can drive itself without external guidance. So far no one has claimed either one. ;D

Using a modified VW Touareg Stanford University has claimed the 2 million dollar prize. Their vehicle completed the 7 1/2 mile course with the best time and fewest mishaps. Officials at the Pentagon are highly interested, wonder what evil plans they have for this invention, a robot tank perhaps? ;D
