Okay, I have to breathe normally. I've almost made it to level 2 triggers. Can't wait! In the meantime, despite being a robo/freeze enthusiast, I used some of her stuck triggers this time, and had a blast! Probably because despite her frustration, she seemed to have fun too. Also had a nice robot roleplay, in which she was a human that was sent to my room to clean, and she slowly discovered that she was a robot...that was a lot of fun. Esp. using triggers on occasion...
BUT...Jessica came up huge in the "I look hot" department this time. I didn't think she'd be able to top last time. Moral: Jessica or Guy might surprise you before a session, and it will probably be very good news! Also, if I have my way, Jessica might have some sexy items donated to her, that I think might blow most people away. (Miss Luna, you like costumes?)
Until later... Steele

Well I'm blushing! I don't know about the "I look hot" stuff... I hope my outfit was pleasing.
Here is yet again another great manipulator of triggers. Steele, you had me surprised at every turn! I might as well have had real superglue on my hands and feet, for all the times you got me stuck... (which I thoroughly enjoyed and was frustrated about at the same time).
And I also enjoyed our robot roleplay. When you get to Level 2, we must try the robot triggers. I think you'll like it.

So tell us more about what you see. How far away from the camera is Jessica. Do you have any controlls like zoom and pan? Is there someone in the room with her? What sort of room is she in during the session.
Just very very curious.

No zoom or anything, but other than that, it's "whatever you like". She'll stand as far away from or a close to the camera as you want. I recommend having her do both, since her whole body is incredible, but her eyes are exciting. The setting is pretty "living room-ish", though Jessica is well contrasted against a blank wall, IMO. If you wanted to try the desk receptionist scenario, they'd probably be able to easily set it up. Personally, I had some fun involving Jessica and a side table. Guy wasn't there for the first session (though he is contactable if there are tech problems) and did a demo for me of her triggers in the second for about 5 mins. Could he be there longer? Just ask him. Does this help? Steele

Yes that is helpful thanks.
How is the overall audio/video quality?
I don't have a webcam myself so I don't know much about them. What program did you use to do this and what sort of connection speed do you have? How instant were her freezes? Was the image on your monitor full screen or just a part of it?
Thanks

I have a cable modem and have been using AIM...picture is relatively small but close to 15fps (or so it seems). I don't know what kind of open bandwidth there would have to be to get full screen picture on a live webcam, but I don't think I'm paying enough to get it. Commands take about 1 sec to reach her, so I usually get her the way I want her. If not, I can just move her that way! My recommendation...ask Guy to test with you sometime. I don't really know how anyone's system is going to look or connect, and am not technically saavy enough to be the best person to ask.

Actually, the issue here is actually the AIM software itself. Apparently, they can get a much larger image from iChat on their end. I've looked into other alternatives, and Trillian Pro *appears* to support a resizable screen image. Of course, I haven't been able to successfully test it yet. Hopefully, once I get all the technical kinks worked out, we PC users will have a better way to video chat, since iChat isn't an option for us. It's Mac-only software. Silverrain

Trillian Pro? Seems to have a few extra bells and whistles compared to regular Trillian, in addition to the video support.
For regular IM stuff, it seems to work much like Trillian basic. However, I haven't tested the video yet, which is supposedly resizable.
That's the piece of it that I'm really eager to test and try.

trillian pro is quite nice, and for only like 25 bucks (one year subscription) you do get the video and voice chats. it uses Quicktime for video and has some buffering for voice, so you can replay things, which was very nice during the initial group chats with jessica. you should try is iss luna

*Gasp!* *Choke!*
Ooooo... Trillian pro sounded so good until the QuickTime, are their options to plug in anything else besides QuickTime?
Ah, I don't really NEED Trillian Pro, I use Trillian every day but I use cam/voice rarely so I guess it would be a waste of mulah. It keeps getting better... I remember when it was just a basic almost pathetic looking interface with more glitches than services... awww it was so little and cute.
They did the right thing making it free AND for purchase, they've got the money to improve it now. Awwwwww... it's still cute. ;D[/glow]
