By 'full length' it sounds like you mean 'feature length', as in something close to two hours long. Hmm, interesting. There have been a couple long stuck videos such as 'What To Do When You're Stuck In Glue' from Lava Studios and 'Extreme Stuck' by Stuckfast that have been about that long overall but those were both compilations of several different short storylines, not one continuous movie. It is possible to instead have several different scenarios happen to the same character but you would need a lot of variety in the stucks and one hell of a storyline to neatly tie it all together. Otherwise you would pretty much just have two hours of a woman struggling in glue which gets old after a while.

You came up with a very nice title. The Curse of Itsostiki remember? The story line is pretty cool too. While to actually produce this thing would require a serious budget it might make for a nice Sticky Buns type thread.
The girl finds the amulet, its cool looking obviously Japanese. She puts it on only to find out the clasp on the chain is jammed. No big deal she'll just wear it to work.
She goes crosses her legs, something is wrong. The poor girl just found a blob of gum under the kitchen table with her knee. Her stocking is ruined, she plans on having a talk with her room mate over her boyfriend's slovenly habits but right now she has to change her stockings.
The woman now late for work rushes out the door out to her car then steps in gum as she goes to get inside. She scrapes it off, now she's really late.
Now she's at work parks gets out of her car and heads for her office, being in a hurry and not too careful of where she going the poor girl get one of her heels caught in a drainage grate.
She struggles briefly then steps out of her shoe and bends over and pulls it out. The heel is marked up by the grate, her new shoes are ruined.
Having no other choice the woman puts it back on and enters the building. Before reporting to work she goes to the restroom to freshen up a bit, been a hectic morning. She arrives at her cubical unaware that she's dragging about 3 feet of toilet paper off her right heel.
Her day is only beginning. How long will it take for her to have another sticky accident? Does the curse effect those around her? YOU BET!! Does she eventually tie the amulets arrival with her run of sticky bad luck. OH YEA!!
Eventually through some research she finds out about the curse, who Itsostiki was and how he died. Now all the remains is to either rid herself of it or pass it on to it's rightful recipient. ;D

That's not quite what I had in mind, Halsca. For one thing you don't have much variety and for another the gum and the toiletpaper ideas aren't really considered "stuck" to most people. I won't go into writing a full script for a two hour video here but this is a quick idea of what I was thinking when I came up with that concept. To make things easy lets call the female Jessica. ------------------------------------------------------- Jessica comes home one day and checks her mail. In it is a small package with no return address. She opens it and inside is a small carved idol. She has no idea who would have sent it to her because she thinks it's rather ugly but she doesn't want to offend whoever sent it by throwing it out so she puts it on her mantle. It's been a long day at work so she tries to relax by sitting on the couch and watching television. She's a fidgeter by nature and eventually starts tapping her hand on the end table next to the couch. There is a soft splash and she stops to look at her hand. It is now resting in a puddle of glue. She tries to lift her hand from the table but it is stuck fast. She tries pulling it free with her other hand only to get it stuck too. As she struggles to free her hands she talks to herself out loud, trying to figure out how glue got onto the table and blaming herself for being dumb enough to get stuck in it. Eventually she says something to the effect of "I can't get free of this glue. It's so sticky." Suddenly, her hands are free and there is no trace of the glue. Jessica is bewildered as to what just happened but she notices that she is getting hungry so she goes into the kitchen to prepare dinner. She fixes something and sits down at the dining table to eat. When she's done she tries to get up but finds that she can't. Her butt is stuck to the chair. Jessica has no idea how she got stuck to the chair but she struggles to get free. This takes a while as the glue stretches but will not break. Eventually, she's talking to herself out loud again and asks herself "Where is this glue coming from? It's so sticky." Again, Jessica suddenly finds that she is no longer stuck and there is no sign of the glue. Jessica stands there in the kitchen completely dumbfounded. She can't figure out what the hell is going on. She decides to give up trying to figure out why this keeps happening and turns to walk out of the kitchen, only to run smack into a giant spiderweb stretched across the doorway (Yes, that's right. A giant spiderweb) As she tries to pull herself away she finds that she's stuck in it. At this point, Jessica completely loses it. This can't possibly be happening, but it is. She keeps struggling but only proceeds to get her whole body stuck in the web."This can't be real," she tells herself. "I've got to get out of this web but... it's so sticky." Again, the web suddenly disappears and Jessica finds that she is no longer stuck. By now, Jessica knows there is something paranormal going on. Full-grown adults don't get stuck in spiderwebs, especially GIANT spiderwebs that appear out of nowhere when there's not so much as a single spider in sight. It also occurs to her that whatever she's stuck in disappears whenever she says the phrase "it's so sticky". She knows she has to figure this out before she gets stuck again so she goes to her computer and starts searching the internet for the phrase "it's so sticky" and then for things that sound like it. Eventually, she finds it. The Curse of Isostiki. She reads through it and realizes that the carving on her mantle is actually an idol to Itsostiki, the god of mischief. Anyone who possesses it is cursed to find themselves in sticky predicaments. Speaking his name aloud temporarily breaks the spell but the only way to get rid of the curse is to get rid of the idol. "That's easy enough," Jessica tells herself and goes to the mantle to get the idol. "Say goodbye, Mr. God of Mischief," she says as she picks it up but it isn't long before she realizes that the idol is now superglued to her hand. "Oh no you don't," she says. "I know your secret now. You're not going to get m-mmmph" Jessica suddenly finds that her lips are now stuck together. She can't say the name Itsostiki anymore. Jessica panics. She knows she has to get rid of this thing or she'll be cursed forever. She tries to pry the idol out of her hand but only succeeds in getting both hands superglued to it. Now she's really stuck. She goes to the door to go seek help but realizes she can't open it without at least one free hand. She then decides to try using the phone to call for help. Even if she can't speak if she can somehow dial 911 then help will come. As she crosses the middle of the room again she comes to a sudden stop. She looks down. Her feet are now stuck in glue. She struggles as hard as she can but her feet won't pull free of the glue. So there she is - stuck to the floor in the middle of her apartment, her lips stuck together so she can't speak, and her hands are both stuck to the very thing that is causing her anguish. She looks down at the idol in her hands. For the first time she notices that it is carved with a smile on its face. "What the hell are you smiling about?" she says in her head. ----------------------------------------------------- Okay, that was longer than I had anticipated but you get the idea. I really like the idea of a spiderweb for two reasons. One, it plays an important role in the story by exposing the fact that something unnatural is going on and, two, it hasn't been done yet by any of the sites making stuck videos. For the spiderweb itself I was thinking of those spiderweb decorations they always have around Halloween. There are basically two kinds: the spiderweb kind made out of thin string woven into a wagonwheel pattern and the cobweb kind which is like a bunch of cotton that you stretch out to drape over things. Combine the two and you'd pretty much end up with something resembling the spiderweb from Gremlins 2. Spray a light coating of spray adhesive on it and it would behave sticky when the actress initially runs into it, and then you could stop filming for a moment and use thread or whatever to tie the actress to it for the main struggling. The lip stuck would be fairly easy. To make it show on film you could just run a bead of honey across the lips. If the real Jessica plays the part then acting it should be easy because she's already hypnotized with a trigger to do that. As far as dialog, part of it would involve lines that the actress speaks aloud such as the parts involving the phrase "it's so sticky" but if I were filming it then a lot of it would involve a voiceover of what the character of Jessica is thinking. This would also be a necessity after Jessica's lips get stuck and she can't speak. I could go on a little more but I'm getting tired of typing right now. I'll pick this up again later, hopefully after a few more people weigh in with their thoughts.

That sounds really good, when its put like that,2hours would be just fine!!Of course the logistics of producing it would be huge, but maybe we as members could put in more than ideas...?
There are certainly some great ideas out there,I dont know if I could have thought of that!

Actually that was only one scenario, her day was just beginning. As for the gum and toilet paper thing I don't have the imagination you do, to me a lot of stuck is about the silly stuff.
Itsostiki seems like a lesser demon of some sort, when you posted something about the Brady Bunch, I started thinking Gilligan's Island type stuff.
You have more than enough for a great 20 minute video. I like the spider webs. Somewhere (Sticky Site perhaps) I recall reading that someone actually constructed a giant spiderweb capable of holding someone in suspension.
I know it would be a major and expensive undertaking but elastic banding material like the stuff used in bungee cords can be bought in bulk. A frame can be build in a doorway and the banding used to weave the web. Spray on adhesive can be applied for effect. If it could be done it would definitely be a first.

I think in responding to Halsca bringing up my Curse of Itsostiki idea I may have inadvertently knocked this thread off track. The original question posed by ShyGlueGirl, and directed to Jessica and the others at Stuckfast Productions, was whether or not it was possible to make a full length movie about freeze or stuck. Certainly it possible to take an idea like mine or even ShyGlueGirl's own idea of The Mystery of the Disappearing/Reappearing Glue and make it two hours long but I don't think that was the point of the question. I think the real question is whether Jessica and Stuckfast would be interested in doing so, and that's really a question that they can answer. Remember, this is the Questions for Jessica forum area, not the General Discussion area. It's been three days since ShyGlueGirl posed the question and I don't think she's gotten her answer yet because the question itself has gotten obscured.

[glow=yellow,2,300]Wow it took balls to say that before I got a chance!!!
True, it did get off track... my fault for not catching it beforehand and at no fault to the posters because it was innocent confirmation of interest. [/glow]

I love all your ideas! So inventive! you all should be submitting scripts to Guy!
As for feature length, I would personally love that! I know Guy was talking about doing a feature length Hourglass - he even wrote the script, which is a sequel to the original (and it's very good by the way). But I know that financing for these kinds of films is hard to come by. To do it right, we'd need some bigger bucks, definitely.
I guess we could always make some feature-length vignette movies, like Freeze Tease stuff or Extreme Stuck.
